Meg Humphrey is a Licensed Psychoeducational Specialist who is certified by the SC Board of Education as a School Psychologist II and by The National Association of School Psychologists as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Meg completed her undergraduate work at the College of Charleston and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She obtained a Master’s degree and a Specialist degree in School Psychology from The College of Graduate and Professional Studies at the Citadel.

Meg has extensive experience working in the diverse settings of inner city schools, magnet schools, and private schools in both Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina. She assisted in the development of intervention services for individual schools, as well as for an entire school district. After working in the public school setting for three years, Meg joined a private practice in Columbia, South Carolina working with a team comprised of a Pediatric Psychologist, with a neuropsychology background, Speech Pathologist, and Clinical Psychologist. She relocated to the Lowcountry in 2010, where she has continued to work within the private practice setting. Meg has served on the South Carolina Association of School Psychologists Executive Board, as the Committee Chair of Children’s Services. She is a passionate advocate for the rights of students with special needs and serves as a parent advocate during 504 and IEP meetings. She is a professional member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA).

Meg is passionate about the need in our community for effective intervention services to help provide children and adolescents with successful educational experiences. She provides educational intervention recommendations, which focus on the unique social, emotional, behavioral and academic needs of each individual child or adolescent. To gain optimal results, Meg closely collaborates with educators, parents, and other professionals to help create supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school and the community.
